REAL ESTATE WEBSITES AND HOW WE CAN SAVE YOU $30K ANNUALLY - NO JOKE !!!!!!!

How we can save YOU $30k a year!!!

We've had a lot of experience and spent a lot of time with research on behalf of our clients when it comes to Real Estate Websites not only in design but most importantly functionality.

There are a lot of so-called 'portal friendly' companies out there claiming their portal systems are best but the reality is that these REAL sites aren't all they're cranked up to be?

Our research has shown the following pitfalls.

1. by purchasing a template site you will be required to pay ON TOP OF THE INITIAL DEVELOPMENT a) a monthly fee for the use of the template and b) hosting of the website. This is ordinarily hosted by the same company supplying your template so they can cash in on both instances - a more than double whammy for you

2. by purchasing a template YOU ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE OF THE DESIGN - they can revise your template and rebrand it for other clients

3. YOU NEVER OWN YOUR WEBSITE. You are effectively 'renting' the template therefore you have no flexibility to move to an external host. So if your hosting company decides they will increase their prices you have no choice but to pay the price or lose your website.

Once you have an established website with multiple sales or sold this makes it even MORE difficult to move on if your not happy!

4. whilst the site can access the certain realty portals (for example realestate.com.au / domain.com.au and several others) the price tag to allow you to do this is outrageous!!!!

Several of our clients confirmed they were paying these companies $2,500 a month just for this so called convenience?

$2,500 x 12 months = $30,000!

Making the 'Ordinary' EXTRA-Ordinary

Vamping the Corporate Profile

Recently I received a document from a valued client to print their annual mail out to new prospects and current customers.
The content was good and I could see the 'time' and 'effort' my client had put into 'trying' to make the word document look good, however it lacked any sophistication and didn't reflect a successful, experienced company.
It looked what it was, a Microsoft Word document.
Perception is everything to a business.
Why spend time and money to print and mail a corporate profile if it looks cheap?
My conscious got the better of me, I just couldn't let something inferior go out there into the market with my clients brand on it!
Who would of known - a design agency with a conscious?
After a quick discussion with said client we weaved our magic to revamp the document into a fully 'ripped' beautiful sales piece to be proud of - all within deadline and budget!
So next time you promote YOUR business and want your great ideas beautifully executed, contact us first to discuss how we can help you.

Online social trends for 2011

Keeping a close eye on online social trends

As we see out 2010 we keeping a close eye on online social trends for 2011 and finding the best practices to market to consumers.

Without a doubt mobile devices and social media advertising is influencing purchases as-well-as adding to an interactive in-store experience.

Of course we aren't so niave to not incorporate offline (traditional) marketing avenues to complete each 90 day plan however social media advertising increases the opportunity to reach customers beyond the traditional paid media.

One trend would be the R.A.K or Random Acts of Kindness. This incorporates Online with Offline applications.

Acronyms & Social Communication - What are you saying?

Social Speak - is it the new language?

Acronyms & Social Communication - What are you saying?
Unless you've been hiding under a rock you would of heard of the dilemma of language is fastly fading into oblivion driven by technology and the fast pace world we live in.
Simply and acronym is initials of abbreviations formed from using a phrase or name.
Acronyms aren't new, for example, CEO (chief executive officer).
What is new is the type of word formation and BLENDING of subtype.
Oh, I hear you say, how exciting but what does that mean?
Basically the use of Acronyms has been popularised with the emergence of Short Message Systems (SMS). Ordinarily you have a character limit therefore creating acronyms keeps your message short and to-the-point.
Within this tapestry are other considerations such as ALL CAPS to highlight or scream your linguistic to your recipient or sideways smilies :-) and how can I leave out LOL (or laughing out loud).
Shall I mention this is only English, what about Asian languages, German, Hebrew, Swahili?????
There is a downside however.
As technology is driving our speed, accuracy is falling fast behind. Spelling, punctuation, basic grammar etc. (and acronym for etcetera) is simply being replaced with acronyms. English skills drop and will make it difficult for generations to achieve better jobs. Writing a letter, resume or postcard will become difficult.
So where to from here?
Will 'social speak' destroy writing or just change it?
Language has expanded vocabulary for common objects for centuries. Proto-English - Old English - Middle English - Early Modern English - Modern English - Social English... maybe!
I have missed feeling about the impact on language however I'd suggest you do familiarise yourself with everyday acronyms or fear of being left behind and learn the new language.
Embrace and USE the web to educate yourself and RWI (roll with it).
How do you feel about Acronyms and Social Communication?
We'd love to hear from you.
